Toys for Tots is Almost Here!

|

The season of giving is upon us and we have launched our annual Toys for Tots drive. San Diego Self Storage has supported Toys for Tots for over 20 years. In San Diego, there are more than 56,000 children registered with the program. San Diego Self Storage has a goal to collect 1000 toys at each of our 17 locations. We are so proud to serve as a sponsor of Toys for Tots and look forward to your help in making it a great year for San Diego children.

As a national sponsor, our facilities serve as collection sites, SDSS employees serve as volunteers and provide trucks to transport toys, as well as assist with large events coordinated by the Marine Corps Reserves.

November 10th - December 16th: Drop off your new, unwrapped toy(s) to one of our 17 locations across San Diego County. Your friends, family and co-workers, even your neighbors can donate toys, too! All of our locations serve as official collection sites. Please share this information with your friends who will want to participate. (See our location list below or CLICK HERE for locations.)

December 1st: NBC Toy Drive at NBC Studios. San Diego Self Storage will assist the Marine Corps Reserves and NBC San Diego in collecting toys all day. Come to the Studio and drop off your new, unwrapped toy! Watch for our segment on the morning news.

December 12th: Watch our segments on FOX Morning News, live with Santa Claus at Encinitas Self Storage!

Naval Marine Corps Reserve would really appreciate your help to sort, count and get toys ready for distribution. While weekend hours are already full, volunteer times during the week are available. If you would like to volunteer at the warehouse, please contact Sergeant Guadalupe Edge at SanDiego.Toys4TotsVolunteers@gmail.com.

We thank you in advance for helping to support the Toys for Tots program, and one very simple goal: Through a new toy at Christmas, provide a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
