Each year, we look forward to our San Diego Food Bank Drive and the Toys for Tots campaign. And throughout the year, each of our locations generously donates time and funds to their favorite and local charitable organizations. The team at San Diego Self Storage’s corporate office is delighted to support several more San Diego-based charities through the year, such as the San Diego Gulls Foundation, Connor’s Cause, Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program, Doors of Change, the San Diego Police Department's K-9 Unit and so many more.

This year, Sorrento Mesa Self Storage selected HomeAid San Diego as the benefactor of their charitable donation. The team stated as their reason for choosing HomeAid San Diego, “San Diego County has the 4th largest homeless population in the U.S. and is ranked 10th nationally with over 1,500 members of homeless families with children. It is unfortunate and heartbreaking to know that the homeless live in the same city as us, but will never get to experience the city the way we do, due to mental illness, unemployment and many other contributing factors which have ultimately lead to homelessness. We believe that with our donation, we can help make a change and have a positive impact within our community!”
