New President/CEO Mr. Matthew Gordon is passionate and driven to continue with Mr. Tracy Morris’s vision and is poised to carry the torch for the organization.
The team at Mira Mesa Self Storage (MMSS) partnered with The Blue Heart Foundation because of its ability to develop young leaders for the future. Guiding and mentoring young men and boys to be the strength of their community and families. The Blue Heart Foundation gives these young men the skills to take charge of their lives and become leaders in future organizations.
Manager Chris Wood, wrote: as a youth growing up in San Diego, I never had something like this to guide me and set the path for my life. I learned crucial life skills growing up in San Diego in a military family. There were many lessons learned along the way. A majority of my friends did not have that place to go to find a purpose, and positive guidance at a young age. Organizations at that time were school-based and, in our community, there were not many options available.
To be able to connect with an organization like The Blue Heart Foundation is impactful and truly amazing. Mentoring, giving the tools to achieve success, and being part of our community while making a direct impact, runs deep in San Diego Self Storage’s core values.
The MMSS donation will go directly to support operation cost, which consists of recruiting quality mentors, providing cultural development, quality workshops, improving personal development in their community, and enriching the lives of every person in this organization.
