The team at North County Self Storage (NCSS) is proud to provide their 2022 charitable gift to A Step Beyond (ASB).
Since 2014, A Step Beyond has been helping youth and their families with after-school dance classes, academic support, and family services. They offer a full range of services for students from third grade up to high school and more. It is a ten-year program that helps students stay connected and receive support in the forms of mentoring, scholarships, work opportunities, and alumni dance programming. ASB believes that through the mindful practice of dance and a holistic approach to services, students build stronger, positive habits that help them achieve a better future. It is a no-brainer why students and families form a line out the door for a chance to be a part of this great organization.
NCSS staff specifically chose A Step Beyond because a sibling of one of our Storage Consultants benefited from the program when they were in elementary school. They developed many useful skills and gained self-confidence by participating in their after-school program.
This donation will go directly towards supporting storage costs for their costumes and materials used for concert events. We hope to be invited to their next concert to see the passion and talent the students have to offer! Thank you, ASB for supporting, inspiring, and empowering our youth members. We are so grateful to be a part of this cause!
