This year, the National/54 Self Storage team chose to make their donation to a very impactful nonprofit organization located in National City. Olivewood Gardens is a staple of the community which empowers students and families from diverse backgrounds and low income neighborhoods to live a healthy and active lifestyle through organic gardening, environmental stewardship, and nutritional education. Olivewood Gardens not only holds multiple weekly classes for adults and children of the community free of charge, but also hosts a weekly open house where people can receive much needed healthy home-grown produce at low or even no cost. This service provides for people in the community in need of healthy food options.
