We want to first thank you again for choosing our company for your storage needs and are wishing you and your family health and safety in these unusual times. We at San Diego Self Storage are committed to many ideals, the highest of which are keeping our valued customers and employees safe from the COVID-19 virus. We are also committed to keeping your belongings safe and providing you access to your belongings to the best of our abilities.
Governor Newsom’s directive allows for certain vital businesses to remain open. “Storage” was specifically mentioned because of its role in keeping supply chains going and the potential of many tenants storing essential items they may need in this time of crisis. We intend to keep all of the properties open without any change in gate hours, but we will be changing how the properties operate.
Effective immediately, we will once again be closing the security gates. You will have the option of entering your gate code at the keypad per usual, or calling the storage office number listed at the keypad. The person in the office can then remotely open the gate for you after you identify yourself and provide the unit number and gate code.
The office will be OPEN but masks are required inside the office. We will continue to follow the CDC best practices of social distancing and increased cleaning throughout the property. We also encourage you to pay your bill via ACH, online payment at www.sandiegoselfstorage.com or processing a credit card payment over the phone with the help of our storage consultants (processing fees will be waived until further notice). Cash payments are strongly discouraged. If that is your preferred form of payment please contact the office to make arrangements that will be safe for everyone.
