Cory Hurtado has served San Diego Self Storage for over eight years. She began as a Storage Consultant and has worked at most of the south area SDSS facilities. She was promoted to Facility Manager at Smart Self Storage of Solana Beach five years ago and really enjoys helping people find the perfect storage. She’s always smiling and makes sure customers have a great experience while storing their items. Cory has a funny and friendly, down-to-earth personality. If you ask her staff, they will tell you that Cory treats others the way she wants to be treated and leads by example.

Cory really enjoys the outdoors; she especially likes to go hiking on the weekends. She mentioned that her greatest hike has been Mt. El Capitan where the view is spectacular! She has always wanted a helicopter tour but never thought she would fly in one on a rescue out of Three Sisters’ Canyon trail. She admits it was the toughest hike ever! Unfortunately, it was very exhausting that she couldn’t make it out of there on her own two legs but admits it was an amazing adventure. Other than being rescued by helicopter out of canyons, Cory enjoys walking her Pug and Schnoodle on the beach, traveling, trying new foods, explore new places, mini staycations, camping, and outdoor BBQs with family and friends.
