San Diego Self Storage is a proud supporter of the San Diego Food Bank. You have likely seen our annual food drive that we conduct in May, where all of our San Diego locations serve as collection sites. In an effort to show continued support of the San Diego Food Bank, San Diego Self Storage served as a sponsor for the 2019 San Diego Blues Festival, which benefits the San Diego Food Bank and the North Country Food Bank. The festival is owned and operated by the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. It serves as a major fundraiser for the Food Bank, which distributes food to 350,000 people every month through a nonprofit network of 500 partners, including pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, low-income daycare centers, senior centers, churches, schools and day centers for the elderly and disabled. For every $1 raised, five meals can be provided to local families in need. Over the nine years of the festival, more than $950,000 in profit has been generated for the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. In addition, an annual food drive at the festival has received 14 tons of donations. San Diego Self Storage is proud to partner with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and do what we can to help serve families and children in need.
