This past weekend, San Diego Self Storage proudly joined the fight against cancer as a sponsor of the Curebound Cancer Challenge, a premier community fundraising event dedicated to advancing cancer research. The event brought together runners, walkers, and cyclists from all over San Diego County to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and fund life-saving research initiatives.
As part of our sponsorship, San Diego Self Storage provided the official bike storage area for the event, ensuring that cyclists had a safe and convenient space to secure their bicycles before and after their rides.
Team SDSS Hits the Course
In addition to our sponsorship, 10 members from our San Diego Self Storage team came together to form Team SDSS, participating in multiple challenge events including:

Raising $25,000 for Cancer Research
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our tenants, community, and team members, San Diego Self Storage raised $25,000 for Curebound. This total includes matching $12,500 from move-ins during the month of June. Every dollar raised will go directly toward groundbreaking cancer research initiatives in San Diego.

The Curebound Cancer Challenge is a powerful example of how San Diego comes together to make a difference. 100% of funds raised are invested into innovative cancer research right here in San Diego.
