The team at Jamacha Point Self Storage (JPSS) is proud to provide their 2021 charitable gift to Disabled American Veterans – Veterans Thrift Store. D.A.V has been providing a variety of successful programs such as the Veterans Medical Center, the transportation program, and department service officers since 1967. With funds generated by charitable donations, D.A.V is able to supply vans to transport veterans between medical appointments, as well as purchase medical equipment for the hospitals. Funds are also used to hire service officers who are trained to aid, counsel, and represent disabled veterans.
On top of the awesome services they provide, D.A.V. is also a large contributor to other local charities, which are known to benefit veterans. Some of the charities D.A.V. supports include Meals on Wheels, the American Cancer Society, and the V.A Hospital in La Jolla, CA. JPSS staff specifically chose the local D.A.V Thrift store because they provide essential help to the community and to our veterans. The donation will go toward the support of operation costs, providing medical transportation, as well as other much-appreciated services.
