Our Mira Mesa Self-Storage location is proud to provide its 2021 annual charity donation to The Fallen Officers Fund of San Diego.
Chris Wood, our Facility Manager stated: “The organization is close to our hearts, as our family was chosen as a recipient when our son Nicholas passed away from a car accident on the 56 Freeway, at the time his father was a Carlsbad Police Officer. The $5,000 donation allowed our family to be able to put the funds towards funeral costs and give us breathing room to function during that difficult period in our lives. Our family and friends come from a long list of first responders, and military backgrounds. Supporting local organizations is important to all of us, even in dark times a bright spot of hope is given. I can relate when other law enforcement families get the call and have to process the un-thinkable life-changing event in their lives.”
On February 24, 2021, Chris was sent this Thank You letter from the Fallen Officers Fund.
