Tauras Update: A K9 Success Story

For those who may not know, back in 2018, San Diego Self Storage proudly donated to the San Diego Police Foundation, helping to purchase Tauras, a dedicated member of the SDPD K9 Unit. Since then, we’ve been following Tauras’ journey, and we’re excited to share the latest update!

According to his handler, Sgt. Corey Stasch, Tauras has now become the best dog in the unit – a true testament to his skill, agility, and dedication to the job. Beyond his official duties, Tauras has been making a difference in the community by participating in outreach programs, including school visits for Community Helper’s Week. Kids have loved meeting him and learning about his role, even getting a hands-on experience inside his patrol car!

We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in Tauras’ journey and are thrilled with his continued success alongside Sgt. Corey Stasch. Supporting initiatives like the K9 Unit is just one way we aim to give back to our community, and we look forward to sharing more updates on Tauras’ progress in the future.
