A Night to Celebrate Saving Lives, Two at a Time
Shelter to Soldier’s motto—“Saving Lives, Two at a Time”—captures the essence of their incredible mission: pairing rescue dogs with veterans experiencing PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, or other service-related challenges. At the soirée, we joined fellow supporters, donors, and community advocates in honoring the impact of this life-changing work.
Guests heard powerful testimonies from both veterans and Shelter to Soldier staff, showcasing how each K9 partnership brings purpose, healing, and hope. Hosted at the renowned The Alexandria at Torrey Pines, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of connection and commitment to a brighter future for veterans and rescued dogs alike.
SDSS Supports a Future Service Dog
As part of our Red Star Sponsorship, we’re proud to share that San Diego Self Storage will be sponsoring a rescue dog that will go on to become a trained service companion for a veteran in need. This dog will carry the spirit of SDSS wherever they go—and we’re thrilled to involve our entire team in choosing the dog’s name. It’s a meaningful way to unite all 18 of our locations under a cause that represents hope, service, and compassion.
