San Diego Self Storage Collects Over 1500 Items in San Diego Food Bank Drive

San Diego, CA, June 24, 2016 - San Diego Self Storage (SDSS) partnered with the San Diego Food Bank for a food drive last month. All 17 locations served as collection sites and participated in the drive. With donations from tenants, staff, and community members to the San Diego Food Bank, SDSS collected over 1500 items. “We look forward to working with the San Diego Food Bank next year and providing an even greater and more positive impact on the more than 475,773 people (including 138,334 children) in San Diego who live in poverty, about 15% of San Diego’s population,” said Director of Operations, Kraig Haviland.

These startling statistics are just a few of the reasons SDSS is hosting the food drive this month. San Diego Self Storage remains committed the people of San Diego as much as possible. “We love being part of the San Diego community,” said Managing Partner, J. Terry Aston. “San Diego Self Storage was established in San Diego 43 years ago. We’ve grown, developed and have built a wonderful relationship with America’s Finest City. San Diegans have supported our business, and we want to make sure we are giving back to our local communities, supporting worthwhile causes and organizations which positively impact San Diego. It’s our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to everyone in this city which has supported our business so much.”
