San Diego Self Storage is always looking for avenues to give back to San Diego and recently held an auction at Smart Self Storage of Solana Beach (SBSS). We worked with Charity Storage, which enables self storage facilities to utilize existing resources to raise funds for charities throughout the United States. Nearly all (90%) of auction funds are distributed to qualifying organizations.

Proceeds from the SBSS auction allowed San Diego Self Storage to offer donations to our favorite charities, which we have supported for many years. The $3450 in proceeds from the auction were disbursed as follows:

$2,070 - (60%) to San Diego Surfrider Foundation.

$690 - (20%) to Kure It Cancer Research.

$345 - (10%) to the Self Storage Association Foundation Scholarship.

$345 - (10%) retained by Charity Storage to assist with administrative costs.

San Diego Self Storage was recognized by Charity Storage because this auction was the single highest Charity Storage auction ever! Everyone at San Diego Self Storage is delighted to be able to make a significant contribution to these worthwhile causes.
